A community conversation, "Confronting Racism Like Christians" will be held at Broadmoor UMC, 10230 Mollylea Dr., Sunday, January 21 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The event is free; registration is available online.  Childcare will be available.

This conversation will be led by Rev. Dr. Will Willimon, a bishop in the United Methodist Church and author of 70 books, including his latest Who Lynched Willie Earle? Confronting Racism through Preaching. He will be speaking about "America's Original Sin," from a Christian point of view. He will also discuss our history of race among American Christians as well as the positive, gracious resources that the Christian faith offers us in growing in our faith in and obedience to Jesus Christ.
  Be Welcomed. Be Loved.

We are a Christian community called to share our gifts through worship, witness and service so that others will know God and become disciples of Jesus Christ.
