Puerto Rico Relief & Chamber Music Recital

Starts:     Jan 26, 2018 @ 7 p.m.   Ends:     @
Join us for a night of music benefiting Puerto Rico, as they rebuild from Hurricane Irma. The Manhattan Chamber Players, a NYC-based chamber music collective comprised of some of the most accomplished young artists on the Classical music scene today, will be presenting a concert of works for piano, violin, viola, and cello at St. John's UMC on FridayJanuary 26 at 7 p.m.

Luke Fleming, the Founding Artistic Director and Violist of the Manhattan Chamber Players is Pastor Lane's nephew, and calls Baton Rouge one of his homes, as he grew up at Jefferson UMC and graduated from Baton Rouge High. All profits from the concert will be given to UMCOR for hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico.

They will also be presenting a different program (also involving clarinet) in the LSU School of Music Recital Hall at 7:30 PM on January 31 (7 PM pre-concert talk and Q&A).
