Amy has always had a heart for teaching and leadership. After attending the Discerner’s Academy and finding that she felt a call toward ministry, she made the decision to work with youth. She interned at Broadmoor United Methodist Church with the youth program and served as Youth Director at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church. Prior to joining St. John’s in 2018, Amy worked in the professional community doing event planning, graphic design, marketing and logistics. She felt the call to return to youth ministry. Amy comes from a very close family. Her father is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church and she has a deep respect for his ministry. She is close with her siblings and loves spending time with her nephew. She enjoys the outdoors and being active, being creative and exploring her artistic abilities, spending time with friends, and watching a good TV show or movie.
